The Triune (Model
500C3) utilizes all the design techniques and operational characteristics
of the 500C, and in addition extends the technology by adding the 800/900
MHz, SMR/Cellular bands to its operation. The 800/900 MHz radiator
operates as a ground independent 1/2 wave. This patented concept
incorporates a method of enabling a resonant cavity to resonate a the
second frequency which is not 3rd order harmonically related to its
fundamental resonance. A model of the Truine is available that
operates Low VHF/High VHF/UHF, and an additional Model 500C4 provides 4
band operation on Low VHF/High VHF/UHF/800-900 MHz. The later
designs have an overall height of 38". Multiplexers are available
for all models and mounts and power levels are the same as the 500C.

Suburban Multi Band Base
Station Antennas
The 3500 C
SUBURBAN Base Station MULTI BAND Antenna operates on the 144, 220 and 440
MHz bands simultaneously. This is the ideal antenna for heavily
loaded towers where space is at a premium, and separate antennas are not
feasible. The antenna is ground independent (no ground radials
required) and can mount easily, with it's 1 1/8" diameter mounting tube,
on standard TV masts, towers or roof brackets. All Suburbans are
center fed half wave designs with decoupling techniques employed to assure
maximum radiation at the horizon where it belongs. The SO-239
connector is protected from the weather. The slim fiberglass radome
presents a tough bur aesthetically pleasing exterior that will stand up in
any harsh environment.
A three band Triplexer is available that
allows simultaneous unswitched operation with three separate radio
systems.
The multi band antenna technology present in
the 3500C Suburban series in not limited to just three
bands. Standard designs exist for four band versions as well.
The 4500C series of four band antennas covers many combinations of
frequencies. 30, 150, 450 and 880 MHz and 144, 220, 440 and 1.2 GHz
versions are quite popular
The Metropolitan
is a Tri-band VHF mobile adaptation of the Suburban antenna that
covers 144, 220 and 440 MHz with great performance on all three bands.
The antenna operates as a quarter wave radiator on each band and as such,
requires a ground plane for proper operation. No tuning is required,
as the antenna simply screws onto a low profile (Motorola/NMO style)
mount. Only 19 inches tall, the Metropolitan can be used with the
Austin Triplexer
for simultaneous three band operation with separate radios!
